Sources of imagination & intuition

As a creative person/former college student I find it hard to fully get back into embracing my creativity instinctually so this book I'm reading called the Filmmakers Intuition gives these excises as a way to tap into your creativity. I recommend these to any creative person looking to limber up their imagination.

1. Let your mind make free associations
2.Acknowledge pain
3. Turn off your auto pilot
4. Don't be afraid to ask questions
5. Give your other self permission
6. Observe. Empathize. Don't pass judgment
7. Tell stories
8. Take time to think and daydream
9.Listen radically
10. Give yourself freedom to do "it" wrong
11. Steal from everyone
12. Don't run away from resistances
13. Improvise in your mind
14. Think out loud. Read out loud.
15. never stop stop learning
16. spend time with art, nature, children
